
So... issue #9 was released.
I know I say this every time, but it's good, and it's probably the best one yet. Seriously, every page is a treat. Every page is a masterpiece. The art alone makes this issue worth it. This comic would be dead without Juan Ferreyra. They better keep him on for 100 issues.
As far as the story goes... There was plenty of action. That's GOOD.
Also, things still seem to be developing with the whole "dead rat = Splinter" thing, and now all four turtles are on board with it; they all can somehow hear Splinter through the dead rat. It's an interesting enough mystery to string the reader along without it being annoying.
April is hot.
Hale is still Hale. There's still that undercurrent about "muh bigotry" but it's not poorly executed.
Overall, really good shit.
