I’m aware of such sites and apps. Out of general principle I prefer not to use them unless there is something I need to see in order to fill in the blanks that I can’t find on the primary or secondary market.
While the end product may be total crap, there were people who put their labor into it and should be financially compensated for it. Part of the reason why comics are in the sad state that they are is because publishers can’t afford to pay good artists and writers. Also, I’ve worked with blue collar folks in the printing industry and they are more interested in making a living than anything else. It’s not their fault that the end product is crap, they need the work.
I also prefer physical media. Not only that it can’t be delisted or altered, it’s comforting to know that when the zombies are eating the neighbors I can still read them by an oil lamp.
One more thing…
A certain YouTuber that some here may be familiar with mentioned a certain website in one of his videos. Several weeks later, that website is gone.
