Tatoruzu lordvector104 Stu_Paddasso I almost like that "character development" has been paused/undone. Let's keep in mind that this is what the turtles were like before Aaron took over. I'll take Aaron's action-oriented (yet bickering) turtles over... whatever this was... any day.
Stu_Paddasso Iām curious if these Reddit posters are actually buying these comics or sailing the high seas. Real fans or tourists looking for self affirmation?
lordvector104 Issue 10 preivew The Turtles are finally together...again. Let's see if they splitting apart within 5 or 10 issues next time.
Gort man they're calling this the second arc but really its still the first story of this run. how long will this opening arc go on for? this is better by miles than ahmed daredevil but its paced about the same. if i gotta sit through a 17 issue opening arc again im gonna flip
Tatoruzu Gort If it were up to me, I'd say that issues 1-5 qualifies as its own mini opening arc. Those issues feel wildly different in my mind from issues 6 onwards.
lordvector104 Gort That's the problem, IDW don't actually have the guts that to reboot everything. Even if some reader like me try to ignore previous 1-150 issues and other mini series, I may still confused about some story, not to mention new readers.
Gort rebooting is for cowards. its the last move of the creatively bankrupt. just push forward and tell actually good stories thats all that matters. ive been through enough turtle reboots in cartoons alone over the years its enough.
