After I read The Armageddon Game arc, I can say his writing has got worse. Some IDW TMNT's original ideas are actually good, but the problem is Tom Waltz and others couldn't stick with it, and Waltz seem to be very insist on introduce a dozen bloated nostalgic character or events. Good thing about IDW TMNT was squandered, subverted, or just outright wasted because the writers kept trying to reference some "bigger, crazier deep" plot.

Did they have to mirror these real world issues in the TMNT comic? Just like DC and Marvel never try to write a story about using superpowers and technology to solve climate change or the proliferation of plastic, but instead continue to remind us of these pointless shit.

If IDW doesn't allow The Turtles and their friends to fix things and make everything better, and keep letting them continue to be incompetent and have to face the meaningless hatred of others, then, I guess it would be better if the finale was The Turtles chose to go Dimension X, maybe go to Planet Neutrino to start a new life, at least they would be treated like heroes.

It had to be done. I wasn't as obscure and esoteric as I wanted to be. I had a big enough target that people were now going out of their way to dig through days-old posts to attack me. But my content is meant for a small, niche audience of people who are either 1) smart enough to find it or 2) spiritually bound to stumble across it. The fact that the net was cast that wide was a sign that it was time to dip. Might fuck around and do the same thing with the channel idk lol we'll see.

Just like these Best of XXX series and Crossovers series. IDW keep milking fans to avoid bankruptcy. They couldn't sustain the hype of a new comic for long, and sales are slipping quickly. Even Last Ronin spin offs aren't really moving at the speed as the first series. Most casuals lost interest with TLR sequel after they killed Mikey. Why do they think it would be hyped up to rush kill off old character and replace them with new ones? Why not have Mikey survive the end of first book and become Splinter in sequel?

lordvector104 I would be really surprised if anyone was actually buying the "Best of" books. The concept behind it doesn't even make sense. Who's going to want to read some random issues that take place in the middle of a run?

I really don't understand Leo's action, but I'm sure he is an idiot in this story. He could just let the Dog Star Clan and Foot Clan fight each other, at most protecting other innocent people from being implicated but still keeping a low profile, but no, he had to get intervene because "muh I need my enemy alive", and his action almost indirectly killed a adult and a child. The whole issue is just a unnecessary preaching and reflection on Leo that "muh I can't let my anger blind me.
