The problem is they make the turtles into caped heroes, especially IDW turtles have to fight the most psychotic evil versions of their villains. If they want the IDW turtles being merciful, they should made the turtles stronger, more capable and beat the villains most times, but, no, the turtles are weaker than before, and can't even beat some one-off minor villains.

I'd say the lineup is pretty full right now. I'd be okay with a second ongoing in a new continuity, but since we already have so much going on, I'd prefer to wait and see what happens.

dropped plotlines are just one of the joys of long running American comics. remember when the green goblin stole Spider-Man's kid and gaslit mary jane into thinking she had a miscarriage and then it was never followed up on again? i do.

Campbell's art style around the time these were made was at its peak. I have no problem admitting that tbh. Never had much of a problem with anything they did prior to their transition.

There are good trans writers/artists out there, but that's not the case with Campbell — looking at their work before and after, something about their transition seems to have severely negatively impacted their style.

Yeah, they tend to infect IPs with their identity politics and whatnot, but there's got to be at least one decent writer or artist in the bunch.

As far as I'm aware, they became trans after their best work (the first three Matrix films and V for Vendetta). So much like Campbell's situation where their art became worse post-transition.
