      Just read issue #7 and honestly it's so refreshing to see the main run putting out what's looking like a potentially decent story now. I'm really glad they're just going back to basics this time around for the relaunch

      Tatoruzu I think you're confusing the micro series issue from 2012 that Campbell did art on for the macro series issue from 2018 that they did both writing and art on.

          I guess this should've been obvious with April's use of Casey's hockey stick in issue #7.

          But looks like April is going to be the "new Casey" now lol.

          I think this could work out pretty well in this run... It makes sense while Casey is hospitalized. I'm sure April had some ninja training at some point in time in the past 150+ issues (I can't remember for certain).

          But it makes me worried for the future of Casey's character franchise-wide. I don't want "Casey" to continue to be a girl or have Casey and April's characters merged in future iterations. But this is usually how shit like that starts — think about how much Spider-Gwen is shoved in our faces.

            she was trained by casey himself very early in volume 1 in exchange for exam lessons iirc

                            Gort I want to start buying Ferreyra covers but my comic shop ignores like half my requests anyway. It's not malicious or anything, he's just a forgetful man.

                                Tatoruzu its just annoying when the variant covers are better than the main cover. at the end of the day theyll all be in the hardcover but still...

                                like cover D for issue 7 was done by Stjepan Šejić and i really wouldve liked to have that one (i just like the way he draws women so him drawing april is cool) but its a D cover and variant covers are just a rabbit hole i refuse to fall down because it would destroy me.

                                goddammit look at the C cover for 8

                                    SpiderBytez the mans whole schtick is drawing pretty men and women so you tell him to draw some ugly turtle men and he fumbled a bit im not too mad abour it tho. the background's perspective seems a bit borked too.

                                        Gort understandable, lmao. The turtles remind me of the Michael bay films turtles, without the tattoos. It's like the 2d version of them.

                                            dose anyone find it odd that pigeon Pete is so far the only TMNT 2012 character that appeared in the main IDW TMNT comics
