Yeah, theoretically Paramount could put a stop to it, but there's no money to be made in lawyering up over this stuff.

A Gargoyles one is perfect! Imagine a New York that deals with stoned warriors at night, a group of mutant turtles alongside their rat father and a ninja evil clan during any time of day? If Greg Weismann is allowed some control and Stan Sakai for Usagi appearances since Gargoyles had a ton of control from Greg and Stan owns his samurai rabbit?

It will never happen. There were all sorts of conditions whenever Disney and Looney Tunes characters appeared in Who Framed Roger Rabbit? back in the ’80’s regarding the amount of screen time and dialogue. I doubt that Disney has relaxed its stance.

The only reason that Disney greenlite Gargoyles in the first place was because they wanted to have their own superhero franchise years before they purchased Marvel. I’m surprised that they even allowed Greg Weisman to produce comics for Dynamite.

FYI: I got to meet Greg along with Tom Adcox (Lexington) at The Gathering of The Gargoyles convention in Dallas in the summer of ‘99. Me and a few others got to hangout with them in his hotel room for a while. Pretty cool.

TMNT/Venture Bros one-shot movie, feel like they would fit right in and could be 'more adult' in that kind of universe.

Another crossover that I would absolutely love to see, would be a TMNT x Gatchaman/Battle of the Planets story. I don't know, I just feel like the more obscure vintage anime IPs need more love these days.

Sadly, the last time Marvel had a real bonafide crossover with another company was in 2004 with JLA/Avengers.

Well, here's some hopium. Marvel and DC crossing over. Maybe Marvel will be open to crossovers with other publishers in the future if these sell well and they become desperate enough.

New Marvel And DC Comics Crossovers Announced At ComicsPRO:

DC Comics Editor-In-Chief Marie Javins and Marvel Comics Editor-In-Chief CB Cebulski took to the stage this weekend at ComicsPRO, the comic book retailer summit held in Glendale, California. They followed the Keynote speech by DC General Manager SVP Anne Leung DePies, to announce a new crossover between the two comic book publishers, to be released later this year. Two one-shots, they will be titled Marvel/DC, to be produced by Marvel Comics and DC/Marvel to be produced by DC Comics.
