It seems like they only want to make Beat Em Ups for the franchise [other than the 'ShadowLegends'-esq mobile gatcha]
If you could get your hands on the franchise for only one game, what kind of genre/gameplay would you want to see?

I think a 4 player Co-Op, Over the Shoulder 3rd person, Action/Adventure game with an actual storyline and 4v4 pvp events would be fun...Think a mix of Helldivers2, Lego Star Wars, and Dynasty Warriors, with "invasion events" kinda like Dying light or Dark Souls, and then a 'over world' [either the sewers or a Foot hideout like in the first movie] where players can socialize, group up for levels/matches, and show off cosmetics....
IDK I just like to think of things like this a lot lol and I'm interested if anyone else is also tired of the lack of creativity in TMNT games tho

    Speaking of which... a Dynasty Warriors type of game where you need to mow through hoards of foot clan soldiers would be peak

      I'd personally love it if the upcoming Last Ronin game took a lot of its cues for the world, progression and combat from Ghost of Tsushima

        i think the ninja turtles a perfect for 90s style turn based jrpg. i mean they themselves fill a traditional 4 character party and the extended cast would allow for plenty of guest party members or split parties as the game goes on. maybe its because im playing final fantasy 9 rn but they really do seem like a perfect fit for that style of game.

          helljumper Hoping when (and if) we get the video game adaptation of The Last Ronin, it will be something akin to that.

          Gort I liked this idea. As a DQ fan, I feel like turn-based RPGs are the comfiest genres. A smaller indie developer, Tribute Games, could easily pull it off. It might be seen as too niche for any developer to attempt though.

                Tatoruzu dragon quest is next on my list to paythrough after i run through finalf fantasy 4-16. shame about 10 never getting localized in english even after getting a single player remake. bizarre.
