I looked more into this project... It was NEVER a movie. My original statement is correct.
This was from the late 2000s when these guys converted their "screenplay" into a graphic novel.
We may not know much about this project, but I don't like what I was seeing. They threw in Bebop and Rocksteady, Fly Baxter, and more that we never knew since the guy went broke trying to finance his "movie".
I don't mean to sound negative about this. But, consider someone trying to take you out to a Mom and Pop joint that doesn't have all the preservatives and artificial flavors that Fast-Food joints have; come to find out that the food has all that and shit like MSG in it as well.
Well, that's what this project remind me of. "Mirage" my ass. They basically thought "hey, why didn't Leo or Raph ever use their weapons in this cartoon I grew up on ? I don't know man, maybe we should make a movie about it! Yeah, we'll use Batman Begins as a template for our "movie". Oh, and those Mirage comics as well".
